Hi ho silvia,

Well if you are wanting to stay some where that is close to bars and restaurants and is cheap you may want to look at staying in one of the Nadi airport hotels. It isnt the true fiji but Nadi isnt that bad and you have a lot to do and you are close to everything.

On saying that you may find a backpackers resort that will be cheap for you out in the islands but you wont be surrounded by clubs or restaurants, only what the resorts have in them.

For nice beaches and fantastic snorkeling its a must to head out to the islands...try this site.... www.talpacific.com.au

West's motor inn start at $29.00pp

Tanoa international hotel start at $68.00pp

Mercure hotel Nadi start at $50.00

Capricorn international hotel start at $37.00pp

Just some of the prices for hotels in Nadi...maybe you could base yourself there and do day trips but it may end up being the same price as shopping about and finding an island backpackers resort?????? Jump on the internet and go to google and typ in...backpacker resorts in fiji. something will come up and then you can see their prices.

If you can afford the extra..please go to an island as that is where you will find the true fiji...good luck
