Hello to all TA readers and posters.
We are in the planning process of our next trip to the south pacific. We have been to NZ and to parts of Aus .in 05 and this past feb/march 07.
A Canadian couple in mid 50's... enjoy walking ,sight seeing, very novice snorkling and kayaking, good food with local wines and just relaxing.
We will be away about 7 weeks with some time spent in NZ and are looking at about 5--7 days in Fiji. We have been reading the TA forums and have a few questions ..
Weather? Is March too hot? (We would be leaving -20 C temps and lots of snow at home)
Have have read reports bugs being quite prevalent (i do realize that this is tropical )Do resorts supply sprays etc ?
Have looked at Oarsmans resort on the yasawa and also Cousteau (a bit pricey for Canadian farmers)..It seems most are all inclusive (meals).Other suggestions? Areas other than the Yasawa.
We realize we get the accomadations that we pay for ...we would I guess be in the mid range.... not 5* and definately not (my wife says ) not 1*
This may be a very broad posting but I have to start somewhere ..
Thank you all in advance
Marvie in the snow
