March Weather / Hilton / Vomo

Hi all,

Thinking of booking an eight-night Sat to Sun trip for my partner's 25th birthday 07-15 March 09. Looking at three nights at the Hilton and five nights out at Vomo.

1. Weather in March - can someone let me know what to expect? Not at all concerned about heat - we love HOT weather. More concerned about prolonged rain during the day.

2. Hilton - best on Denarau for a couple (aged 23 and 25)? We'll arrive in the evening then have two full days before helicopter out to Vomo early on the third day.

3. Vomo - good beach? Good food? Accommodation good 4.5-star standard? Anyone stay recently? Mostly concerned with having a great beach and good snorkeling.

4. Helicopter transfers - can we book these for any time? Would like to take possibly the late FJ flight home to give a full day on Vomo on the last day.

Think that is all for now - thanks if you can take the time to try and answer!

Hi

We love Fiji at this time of year as it is really tropical Hot days and warm water (BUT) there is always a but it is the cyclone season so it can be wet and humid on the mainland it may be Cooler on Vomo. All the resorts on Denarau are good and the marina is a good place to eat and just hang out over a few drinks (the hard rock, Cardos & the pizza shop)just have fun it will be ok
