Sand underfoot beachfront bure in Fiji

Hi all,

I'm looking for a lovely resort where my partner and myself can spend our honeymoon. I've been trawling the forums and google images trying to find the right place. I haven't had much luck yet because most forum topics seem to be about particular islands, but we're flexible about which island we stay on.

We're are looking for a bure that is absolute beachfront. I want sand between my toes as soon as i walk out the front door or sit on the deck! Secondly, we're looking for somewhere that's not too pricey ($300 p/n or less- but the cheaper the better!).

We've stayed at BLBR which we loved, but we're looking for somewhere that doesn't have shared evening dining.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Try Matamanoa, Musket Cove, Navutu Stars or Kulu Bay.

Your $300 Aussie dollar with give you roughly $546.00 Fiji dollars at todays rate. Nanuya quote in Fiji dollars so you get the advantage of the exchange rate of the day. Doubt you will get better for you money. Nanuya is a small romantic resort right on Blue Lagoon Beach with THE Blue Lagoon out front.

Botaira might also be a possibility. Hooked can tell you more about that as she's been there many times.

Click on 'packages' and go down to prices, the longer you stay the cheaper it gets. Also quoted in Fijian dollars.

Another thought have a look at Barefoot Island resort in the Yasawa's also.

The have ensuite beachfront bures at $195 per night including meals. Great location something different. You can Google them for some pics.

Botaia too might suit you bures 1 to 7 in front row are beachfront. Fijian owned and managed good basic food great location and snorkeling. Wonderful staff. A Fijian experience

Thought of another one for you to check out (at the top end of your budget just remember to factor in the transfer costs).

Viwa has a lovely beach. The bures are set farther back, and not right on the beach.
