Fiji Scuba Diving Trip

Hi there. In the early stages of planning for a trip to Fiji for 2014 for my boyfriend and I. Looking for a resort that does a lot of diving, but has a nice beach as well. So far, leaning towards beqa lagoon. Any suggestions? Looking for 7-10 days and ideally between 2-3000 each. Beqa Lagoon is also rather appealing since from what I can tell from the website, flights from LAX are included in the price? Any advice and suggestions appreciated.

Unfortunately, that special ended March 2013 according to their website. Would e-mail them to be sure. It might still be offered, but their website hasn't been updated. Can't hurt to inquire. Excellent price with airfare from LAX included.

Have a look at Coconut Grove Beach, Paradise Taveuni resorts on Taveuni. The area is known as the soft coral capital. Has amazing snorkeling and diving. Prices for both resorts are in FD, so will have to do the conversion to USD. Takes a 1 1/2 hour flight from Nadi to the island with Pacific Sun.

There is no beach at all at Paradise. We knew that before going so weren't disappointed. A number of specials are on their website for 2014.

Rainbow Reef, just off Taveuni is also worth a look.

Hope this helps.
