one week end of September

My friend and I are interested in the natural sights of Fiji. We are 20year old guys who want to hike, snorkel/scuba dive, and jet ski. We are going there the last week in September for one week and would like ideas on cheap hotels and which islands to see.

Depending on what your budget is check out Mana Island ( www.manafiji.com ). Large Island (~300 acres), some hills so plenty of space for hiking and exploring. 3 beautiful beaches. Mana offers great snorkelling and diving, plus a host of other water sports. A much cheaper option and on the same island is Ratu Kini's backpackers - they offer diving, kayaking & water sports as well. (www.ratukinidiveresort.com.fj) Transfers to Mana Island (for Resort bookings) can be by South Seas Cruises (www.ssc.com.fj) or to Ratu Kinis via their own transfer boat (9.30am departure from Juxter Beach, Fantasy Island (Nadi). They will pick up for free from your Nadi Hotel or Nadi Airport.

Or on the mainland (Sigatoka/Coral Coast areas) River Safaris, Sand dune climbing available. Cheaper accommodation in this area.

A further popular option is www.feejeeexperience.com Some suggestions to help start your planning.
