Fiji Camera Renting

Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to rent a waterproof camera once you are at Fiji Island. I don't really want to spend money in buying a new one only for a week. Maybe some diving companies are proposing that as well ?

Thanks in advance for your answer

Hi - I don't think this is possible.... Well I haven't seen camera rental options at any of the resorts I've stayed at in Fiji (and I've stayed at over 20 resorts)... You can buy disposable underwater cameras (film not digital - about au$20 in Oz), which may be a cheaper option for you... I have seen these for sale at a couple of resorts in Fiji (never checked price at resorts sorry)... If you do decide on this option, it might be worthwhile buying from NZ as I have only seen them in a few places in Fiji... Enjoy your holiday!

Too bad, quite surprising that they are not offering that :(

Anyway, 20$ for a camera (film) ? it seems quite impossible to get one at this price :o

Yep approx au$20... It's a disposable camera though... I've seen a number of brands in Oz, but here's an example of Kodaks one... bigw.com.au/electronics/cameras/digital-came…
