Nadi eating

Hi ,have read a few posts about Nadi Mecure Hotel. We are staying there next month . Would like some advice on good restaurants within easy walking distance of there so we don't have to eat all meals at hotel. We also have not paid for breakfast so is there somewhere close and cheap. Also another question. Last time I was there noticed a food market on road to the airrport. Does this replace the one that used to be in town or is it still there.

There are a number of restaurants nearby the Mecure - Indian, Thai, Chinese, Japanesse, Fijian - there is a lot to choose from. Can recommend Sitar for great Indian and Tu's Place has great breakfasts & lunches.

The market that you mention is at Namaka is in addition to the market in Nadi which is still there.
