Does Nadi airport close down?

Is it possible to wait overnight in the terminal before checkung-in or is it all buttoned up after the last flight?

I'm landing at 0.30 am and I'll need to stay in the airport until 8 am.

I don't want to spend money for an hotel.

Just head across the road from the airport and get a room at Raffles Gateway.

You will not be allowed to stay in the airport.

Quoting from the Airports Fiji website:

Nadi Airport has a transit lounge that caters for travelers cris-crossing the South Pacific ocean and can satisfy travelers within two hours for flight connection or more.

If your transit time exceeds six (6) hours, you will be required to exit Immigration and Customs and enter Fiji, any flight transit time less than six (6) hours allows you to transit within the Nadi Airport Transit Lounge.

There are plenty of chairs to sleep in where the check-in counters are, i dont think they close down completely and if u are clearing customs then u cant stay in the transit lounge.
