How long to spend in Sarajevo and Mostar

Unsure especially as to how long to spend in both destinations. Can spend maybe maximum three days in either, but have heard Mostar may only be good for one day.

Looks likely I'd be coming from Split, to arrive on the bus about 2pm.

Would want to leave on the train to Sarajevo, so assuming I'd then have to get the train the next morning, is thart enough time for Mostar?

Depend of what kind or tourist you are.

Generaly speaking, yes, one day is enogugh to see Mostar (Old Bridge, Old Town, eventualy to get freshness or to have lunch in Blagaj)

To see allmost everything in Sarajevo you need three days, plus one day if you want to see so called Bosnian Pyramids which are 37 km far from Sarajevo, in Visoko town.

A day trip to Mostar will be sufficient. But it U would like to experience better spend a night there.

Go further and explore Blagaj. Nice scenic river.

On the way to Mostar (if U travel by car, dunno if bus will stop over here) U can stop over midway (cant remember the name tho ) and have BBQ Lamb & trouts. Very delicious.

If U drive further from Visoko, U will be able to enter two 16th century forts.

Sorry cant remember the name but someone in TA will help I hope.

Sillent Lambs at Goyko in Jablanica near broken bridge in the River Neretva.

Mr. Goyko passed away, but he is still alive with his heritage of BBQ-ed lambs.

Another castle is Vranduk over the River Bosnia near Visoko.

You should visit Jajce town. The town called TOWN-MUSEUM. Uniqe town with huge falls in the center of the town.

Also, beautifull castle in Travnik town. Town with the best cevapcici (sosage of melted meat) at HARE shop. But you should first to read Travnik Chronicle by Nobel prized 1961 Ivo Andric.

"Zdrava voda" is better choice for the lamb.
