The wife and I regularly island-hop around the Greek islands; September will be the first holiday when we try the same around the islands close to Split. Can we expect to be met on the port, as we are in Greece, by owners of rooms offering accommodation when we get off the ferry? We prefer not to book rooms prior to arrival as we enjoy the flexibility of being able to move on when we are ready.
