We are already in croatia in split. We are heading to Plitvice lakes and then to Pula.

We would like to taste wines at vineyards like we do in Australia

Is this possible or do you have to go on a set tour?

You can do it without booking a trip. For example, you can rent a car in Istria and discover inner Istria and its wineyards (Motovun, Hum, Grožnjan,...)

As you will be in Pula, you can can visit Trapan winery in Sisan village not far from town. So avoid driving and take #25 bus so you can enjoy good wine. Bruno Trapan is a likeable engaging host and I advise you book to make sure he is there on the day. www.trapan.hr
