Train Travel : Split -Zagareb - Bled - Salzburg

Hi

Can you please recommend / give inputs on cost efficiency of train travel itinerary from Split (Croatia) to Salzburg (Austria) with an interim stopover at to Bled (Slovenia). We have currently broken our travel as detailed below. Is it possible to buy direct train tickets (SparSchiene) from Zagreb to Salzburg - hop off in between at Bled for two days and then take same train to Salzburg?

Current Travel Plan

1)15th June (travel from Split to Bled: We take night train D 824 (22:00) from split to Zagreb (06:00); take EC 212 from Zagreb (06:50) to get off at Lesce Bled at 10:01

( Zagreb to Bled we propose to buy ticket on arrival from Zagreb)

2) 18th June (travel from Lesce Bled to Salzburg): We take EC 114 / EC 212 from Bled to Salzburg (proposed to be booked from Bled)

I hope everything goes perfectly, but unfortunatelly, Croatian railways are notorious for their inefficiency, uncomfortableness and lateness. So if you rely on your trains to be on time in order to change routes, I would always add in at least a couple of hours to every scheduled arrival, just to be on the safe side.
