Bus from Henri Coandă Airport to Doubletree by Hilton

Hi, We arrive in Bucharest on a Friday lunchtime and leave early on a Sunday morning, we would like to know which bus to catch to get to the Doubletree hotel and then back to the airport, how much, where to buy the tickets, bus times and also where to catch the bus. Any help would be very much appreciated, Thanks :)

Go to the Arrivals terminal exit, buy an Activ transport card (3.7 lei) and charge it with about 25 lei.

Or get a Multiplu card and (assuming there;s two of you) charge it with 2 express bus rides and 2 two regular rides (11.2 lei in total, one way).

Then take express bus 783 from its stop in front of the airport till the 16th stop ("Piata Unirii I")

Bus 783 runs approximately every 20 minutes.

From there take bus 104, 123 or 124 (lessx than 10 minutes wait) till the third stop ("Traian"). The Doubletree is less than 5 minutes walk to the south from where you'll get off.

Get to the airport back the same way.

On all buses (as well as trams and trolleybuses) you have to validate your card each time you get aboard: swipe the Activ or Multiplu card on the black spot on the orange validator boxes you'll find inside the vehicle.

If there's more than one person in your group swipe the card, press button 2 then swipe the card again.

A ride on express buses costs 3.5 lei, on other lines 1.3 lei.

On most buses incoming stations' names are displayed on small screen behind the driver's cabin.
