Waiting at DME

My sister will be arriving at midnight at DME. Her family arrives the following day at midday. Where can she wait comfortably inside until they arrive? She doesn't speak Russian.

A night in the Airport hotel seems to be an obvious solution. Check airport website and make a booking. 10 minutes walk, or a free shuttle. May not be cheap, though... Another alternative is sleeping on the chair in the common area, 2nd floor. Eyemask and earplugs essential, but will not be comfortable either...

Are your sister and her family just passing through DME on their way to somewhere else in Russia (or beyond!), or will they be spending some time in Moscow itself on their trip?

How about at the hotel/apt/hostel they are staying at? Hanging out at the airport is not fun.

If they are stopping in Moscow for a day or so, I agree completely with Vladchan. It would be far nicer for your sister to head into the city to the hotel etc for a relaxing night and let the rest of the family arrive the next day!

She could arrange a transfer through someone reasonably reliable like www.go-to.ru where she'll be met at the airport by a driver with her name on a board, no Russian language skills necessary. The family could follow in her footsteps the next day.

If she does want to wait at the airport, these sites might be useful.
