Tour operators

There seem to be so many -- does anyone have strong recommendations for a company that can put together a 12-day trip that hits the high spots but which also is not too structured, leaving time for independent exploring? Also, I prefer local companies, as long as they are reliable. Thanks

Search above for Rodolfo. Not a company but has drivers and will meet all your needs and expectations. There are many great comments about him

Arrival at the international airport and transfer to your hotel.

Day 1: touring around the humid but beautiful Leon, Lunch on the beach, cool of at las Peñitas or Poneloña beach and boat ride at Isla Juan Venado.

Day 2: Visit Cerro Negro volcano and San Jacinto Mud pools. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon in Leon.

Later, on the road to Granada a sight seen in Managua is a must. Arrive to Granada.

Day 6: Visit to the colonial city of Granada including a boat ride on the little Island of Granada at Lake Nicaragua.

Day 7: Day trip to the city of Masaya, visiting the first national park of Nicaragua Masaya Volcano, Masaya art craft market, Catarina view point, San Juan de Oriente pottery town.
