Casco Veijo hotel

We are staying at the Royal Decameron for the last part of March. would any of you recommend spending a night in a hotel in Casco Veijo? It looks very interesting. I would hate to only spend a few hours there if it's worth spending a night or two. Can you recommend a hotel? Something quaint and Panamanian but also clean and comfortable. Looking forward to reading what we would enjoy seeing there. Like to shop and site see.

Thank you.

Disclosure: I live in Casco.

Staying a night or two in Casco Viejo will give you a different experience (no cookie cutter chain hotels here) and if you're into history, good restaurants/cafes, people watching and just wandering around - you will have a great time in the "real" Panama City.

Lodging possibilities (biggest has six rooms) with the most expensive at the top:

A budget choice at the edge of Casco (location will make some nervous):

Have a great stay. Let me know if you need any additional information on my neighborhood.

Love Casco Viejo, well worth staying over and exploring for a day or more.
