Transportation Help?

Planning a 10-14 day trip to Panama this summer and would like to explore Los Santos, Santa Fe,and Boqette. Don't want to make the drive all the way up and then all the way back to PTY. I am under the impression that one really needs a car to see/get around the Peninsula and have heard it is a nice drive down there. Maybe a couple day side trip to Sante Fe, a few days on the peninsula, then ditch the car in David, and a cab to Boquette for the remainder of time, and fly back. Have been to Boquette a couple of times, but always flew and missed the interior. Not crazy about driving, but wife can navigate - i suppose. Sorry to see that Aeroperalas to Pedasi no longer an option. Is a one way rental with drop-off in David possible? Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

One way rental can be expensive, they kill you on the drop off charge.

The drive to David from PC isnt bad once you are out of the city, you can make it in 6 hours it is about 400kms

If you have the time, drive both ways and make a stop each way - maybe ELValle on the way there and a beach stop on the way back, try to avoid driving back to PC on A Sunday afternoon - too much traffic.
