Panama City to Coronado

What is the most economical way to get from Panama City (probably the airport) to Coronado?

Take a taxi to Albrook Mall bus terminal, find the window for purchasing tickets to Coronado/San Carlos. You'll need someone to direct you to the bus as its a little confusing but tolerable. I believe now you have to purchase a Metro card to get through the turnstiles. The buses are a mid size Toyota Coaster bus holding about 30 and will run you about $3. You want to get dropped off near the McDonalds and Rey Supermarket, takes about 1 1/2hrs. Not sure on the price of the taxi, you can work a deal with these guys but I'm guessing in the $10-20 range. Or call www.panamaroadrunner.com, run you about $98 for a nice private car.

FYI, is you are booking a car rental prior to coming; here is some info:

whatever you are quoted - double the price you will actually pay with hidden fees and taxes.

DON"T drive in Panama City.
