Switching airports

We will be traveling to Panama City in April. We are expecting to take a connecting flight to either David or Pedasi. One, is it easy to get from the main airport to airpanama? Two, which city which you would recommend seeing first?

You really need to get a taxi between the airports - just hop in one at Tocumen. As you are going across the city, that can be affected by traffic.

What are you looking for in those places ?

Another very important consideration is the amount of time it will take you to clear immigration and customs and travel from the outskirts on one side of the city to the opposite side of the city. Depending on the time of day you arrive, it can take a few hours to get from one plane to the next.

Thank you for your information. For various reasons we have chosen David to visit. Do either of you know if AirPanama is the only flight from Panama City to David? Is there a shuttle between the airports or is a taxi the best way?

Thanks for your help.

There is only the one internal airline in Panama.

There is not a shuttle - take a taxi.

A taxi is only 25 -30 dollars from Tocumen Internacional (PTY) to Albrook which is theregional airport...

If you are staying in Panama??Fly to David first, then work your way back to Pedasi

Buses depart David hourly for Santiago, then transfer to a CHitre bus .

Pedasi is 1.5 hour south of Chitre
