Good Friday and Easter Monday

Hi, we will be in Norfolk Island on Good Friday and Easter Monday. Can anyone tell me if the stores/shops and attractions will be open on these days? Thanks Julie

Hi jetpaddlers

Most shops & 'paid' attractions are closed on Good Friday. On Monday the shops will be open from 9am to 12:30pm, but all the various 'paid' attractions should be open all day. If you email the Visitors information centre on info@norfolkisland.com.au they produce a list of what is open/closed on each day. The main Foodland Supermarket is open from 8am to 6pm every day.

But there a lots of free walks & sightseeing that you can do on each day. Try a walk through Hundred Acres Reserve, a picnic at Captain Cook Memorial, or a stroll around the Kingston Historical Area.

Hi

Have done some checking and have been told that all shops and most restaurants & cafes will be closed on Good Friday. However, the main supermarket will be open from 3.00pm to 6.00pm.

On Easter Monday all shops will again be closed. However, most restaurants and cafes will be open. The supermarket will be open all day from 9.00am to 6.00pm.

Tours won't be operating on Good Friday, but will be on Easter Monday.

Hope this helps, but it may pay to check with the Information centre as suggested by Endeavour3 a little closer to the time and with any specific questions you may have.
