My parents were married at Posada Don Rodrigo which I think is out of our budget... I was wondering if people knew any of the prices of getting married at different locations in Antigua.... any suggestions around Antigua for less than 30 people.... thanks.

I see that no one has jumped out here to help you.

Have you contacted Posado Don Rodrigo for a quote yet? I know the rooms aren't out of sight price wise the last couple of times I stayed there. The courtyard (s) offer so many opportunities for wedding venues that I think it would be a perfect location, if the price is right.

There are fantastic wedding planners in Guatemala that you should Google: I Do Guatemala. The two ladies that run the place are excellent and while they may be out of your budget I'm sure they would be nice enough to give you some direction.

Hello! My fiance and I are actually getting married next november in San Jose El Viejo...it is a beautiful ruin on the southeast side of Antigua..it is affordable and the perfect size for your group..we are also having around 30 guests. If you are a Spanish speaker, having a wedding in Antigua is easy and cost friendly..I am also using Diana from I Do Guatemala because I am not fluent in Spanish and am not much of a planner..she is amazing though and not overpriced.

Good luck!

Valerie - The forum isn't a place to advertise - it's supposed to be a natural process of travelers asking and answering questions about their plans and experiences. Occasionally lodgings or services are reviewed here but there's another Trip Advisor function for that.

If people enjoy your place (or hate it, for that matter - not that I'm predicting that) they'll post reviews. Then when people are searching for places to stay (or have weddings) in Antigua your place will pop up in the searches. For example, here's the review list for the place I stay in Antigua (different genre than yours):

Hi JadeyPresnell,

I caught this attention of contacting Diana from "I Do" service. I am wondering if you have her email address ? I have sent a comment but I haven't heard anything back lately. I am in the process of researching for my wedding plannings.

Your help will be much appreciated!

Sofia :)
