Easter 2018

Thinking of traveling to Dubrovnik then Perast next Easter break - 1st or 2nd week of April. How is the weather normally around this time? Would you recommend visiting? Thanks!

"Would you recommend visiting? "

Certainly would, but not if you want to swim in the Sea.

Thanks! I like to sightsee more than swim anyway. Would it be too cold for a beach hangout as well?

I’ve read somewhere that I could see all the sights in 3 days, is this correct?

You can walk the entire old city and walls in less than a day. Including morning climb/cable to Srđ. It is a small(-ish) city.

Second day normally you would go to Lokrum island, that is half a day which leaves you half a day for some other activity. Where I would strongly recommend getting to off-the beaten path area of Konavle. Great scenery for photos, old villages with mountains as backdrop. Cliffs and hidden coves. And a few traditional restaurants. If you cannot drive or there are no tours, just get a local bus to Gruda and start walking.

Third day is normally not spent in Dubrovnik, but on a longer daytrip - Kotor, Mostar, Elaphites or Mljet.

Weather - I would worry more about possible rain than any cold.

Perast might be very quiet. I went in early October one year and it certainly was.
