Wedding budget for getting married abroad

Hi, Does anyone have an idea of what kind of budget we would need to get married in Dubrovnik with about 70-90 guests for your average wedding. We would like tgo get married next year but price will determine this.

Thanks

You may want to research wedding planners for the answer to that question. I've seen some folks who have rented out Fort Lovrijenac for a wedding which is very expensive. It will depend on what type of wedding you want. They also would know if there are any type of legal fees required to obtain a license.

hi there .

as mentioned by the travel lady do your research. but there are many ways to keep the costs down. insted of having a reception at eg , Excelsior hotel choose a 3star with a beautiful garden setting.. (Aqaurius in Lapad eg.) definately get some prices from a few different wedding planners..( good reports from Christina , will get back to you with company name).. buy your wine from a local business not from the hotel .. (dvino wine bar do some great $$$ eg.) if your going to hire a boat for guests dont book over line. big price difference... negotiate directly.

cheers and congrates on the engagment

@ croatiamate - truly some great advices! There are several quite nice hotels in Dubrovnik and it may be worthwhile coming for one weekend and then just driving around the city and the area to find the best place. Also, while we are at cost reduction, I am sure that D'Vino will give great selection but, since this is a great wine making area, you may contact the wine makers directly for significant discounts.
