Look at Croatia airlines. There is direct flight. Also there is a ferry between Dubrovnik and Bari i Italy.

Dubrovnik-Bari ferry doesn't run often, so sometimes it might make sense to travel by bus to Split and catch a ferry to Italy (Ancona) from there, it's more frequent

We flew Dubrovnik to Rome with Easyjet in August at 8.40a.m. No problems and got us into Rome in time for us to enjoy most of the day.

We flew Dubrovnik to Rome with Easyjet in August at 8.40a.m. . No problems and got us into Rome in time for us to enjoy most of the day.
