Zadar hotel

Hi

Firstly thank you all for you advice and comments in the form, very informative.

I am looking for a hotel in Zadar, for just one night. We land late at night, 10 and only want somewhere to sleep for the night, as we will be driving down the coast in the morning. Any thoughts or advice as to where would be best ? There would be no point in staying somewhere expensive as it is only for one nights sleep.

Many thanks

Kevin

I would strongly recommend you stay in Zadar at least two nights, as the old town itself is worth a visit and can easily be covered in a day. But at sundown (Alfred Hitchcock described Zadar's sunset as possibly the most beautiful in the world) at the Tribute to the Sun, there is a huge circle of coloured LEDs set into the pavement and they start lighting up and rippling waves of colour across the paving. Little children love it and the grown ups don't think it's too shabby either :-) I truly think it would be a great shame to come so far and then not see it :-(

Hi,

We stayed in Apartments Donat for one night and it was great. Brand new and right in the city centre. I'd definitely recommend it.
