Getting to Perast

Hello Our cruise ship is tendering in Kotor in July. We have noted a couple of places we would like to see like Perast and the Lady of the Rocks Church. Any advice on the best and cost efficient way of doing this.

Am I correct in saying that the best vantage point to see the Bay of Kotor is the Fortress Svetic Ivan? How do we get to the start of the hike?

cheapest way to get to the Perast is to take a local bus- you will easily find bus station-when you go out the port,go left, after only 200m is main entrance to the city, and after main entrance u will find open market. just after it is a bus station/it is not clearly mark, but u will see small park and people standing over there. they go every hour. it is 30min drive, ticket is aprox 5 euros.

If u wanna take the taxi,it is 20euros,but take red or black one-these are cheaper. u will find them if u go to the right of the main port, pass the bridge and park, another bridge and turn left.u r in front of shopping centar camelia where u can find them.

this is all 300meters.i

f u ask for taxi just in front of the port they will probably ask too much.

when u want to go to the walls take free map of the city on tourist info just in front of the main entrance. it is very easy to find ur way.
