1. Re: weather

January is historically the coldest month in Tunisia (and February)

Expect temps similar to early Spring or Autumn at home

Possibly some warm sunny days

Cool and windy at night

Certainly some rain in January.

2. Re: weather

PS

WE have visited in every month, except January and February;-)

If its sightseeing and exploring you are planning, heavy sweater/ jacket is advised

The sun goes down very early and it will be chilly and windy in the evening

Slainte

No matter were you travel too around the med in these months it will be cold at night and not so many hours of day light. You have to go further a field, but no doubt it will be much better than the cold winters here in the UK.

Hi Miriam

Only stayed once in January 2000.

In a sheltered spot we could sit in the sun for possibly 4-5 hours a day.

It was very cold at night.

We wore winter coats when out for a walk.

All the locals had their heads covered with scarves and blankets.

But it was dry!

Best Wishes Amethyst
