Organized day tour of Lahore

Hi - I will have one spare day in Lahore after a conference and looking to book an organized day tour of Lahore - maybe taking in the mosque and other important sites. 2 females travelling alone, hence why we would rather go with a reputable company. Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Contact Punjab Tourism Development company. it's a govt owned and operated entitiy. as far as I know, they have a day tour bus trip to all the important sites in lahore including the mosque, fort, mall rd, liverty market etc etc.

as for females travelling alone, yes, they can and they do. only thing you need to take care of is to follow the local dress code and not wear anything too revealing.. plus don't get too friendly with anyone without knowing them first. keep your wits about you and your belongings closer as pick pocketing is common in crowded areas.

You could also try http://www.xpert-tours.com/ , they do a tour that takes you by car from hotel and then walks you through each of the highlights in a day. You go to a great place for lunch with fantastic views. Email them for info.
