Dubai Transfer

Hi, all, we have a transfer from one Emirates plane from MAL (EK659) to another flying onward to MAN(EK19) at Dubai airport but there is only 1 hour 40 mins between them - anybody with knowledge of this airport have any idea if is possible or is it to close to call

Yes you will be fine. Your baggage will be checked through to Manchester and you only have to go through security.

I do this several times a year and never yet missed a connection.

The airline wouldn't allow you to book it if there wasn't enough time to transfer.

possibly but any delay and we would miss it - checked out Dubai airport map and the Emirates has it own terminal (T3) and arrivals is on the floor below departures, so should be ok , I hope

If you miss your connection through a delay in your outbound flight and are on a single itinerary then the airline will have to transfer you onto the next avaiable flight and look after you in the interim. Despising on the time scale this could be a meal or a hotel.

As the above posters have stated it's more than possible and many people have these short transit times. Your bags will marked with short transfer and loaded accordingly at your origin and your next gate number will be displayed onboard your flight to enable you to go straight there.
