A taxi from the official rank will only cost around 40 (£7) dirham including the standard airport pick up fee of 20 dirham.

The metro finishes earlier than you might expect and won't be running by the time you have collected your bags.

There may still be a bus at that time, I'm not sure, but as I said a taxi will be cheap.

In a few weeks we are also landing on Dubai Airport for a 4 nights stay at the Riviera Hotel. When you send a message to the Hotel they pick you up from the airport for 50 Dhs (all of you together). The driver wait for you in the arrivals hall with a sign with your name on it. This a very relaxed ans stressless way to go to the hotel after a (long) flight.
