1st time visit, w young kids, ** please** suggest hotel/area

visit in TWO WEEKS! seeking help with hotel reccommendation for 4 nights by the beach.

Grosverner area, Palm Jumeirah, or Jumeirha chain of hotels?

hoping to stay $300-500/ nt with breakfast.

most hotels seem to require a 2br suite to accommodate a family of 4(even though kids are both under 7years old). which goes way over budget!

on the last night, hoping to check into the Pullman Hotel(says its connected to the Ski Mall). we will check out at midnight, so wont need bedding for 4. just a place to lay our things , let the kids nap, until we head to the airport.

Due to the tourist season, Dubai's 5 star hotels charge whatever they like to.. Even $500+ wouldn't get you much.

However found - Suite Novotel Mall of the Emirates. They seem to offer rooms fit for a family.

From the hotels you mentioned. I would say go with Jumeirah Beach Hotel as you'll have free access to the Wild Wadi Water Park, your kids are gonna love it. Also don't forget to take them to the SEGA Republic in Dubai Mall.. You can easily spend the whole day there.

The palm is more out on a limb so not central. Jumeirah beach hotel is excellent and gives you free access to Wild Wadi but the hotel is not cheap so I'm not sure if it will be over your budget.

Cheapest hotel along the beach is the Hilton.

You may want to look at Hilton jumeirah and ir right on the walk or highly recommend westin for kids.

If it is your first visit I would avoid the palm for the reasons stated above, the westin is right at the bottom for the palm

The Hilton has family rooms and the Grosvenor House Hotel does 2 bedroom apartments, which means you get all the services of the hotel but more space.

The Hilton also has Hilton Residence which is across the road from the main hotel and has 2 bedroom apartnments - again all of the hotel services but more space.

Guests of Grosvenor House can use the beach and pools at Royal Meridien hotel across the road.

Witrh reference to Jumeirah Beach hotel, if you contact them via their web site you will find that you can probably acccomodate 2 children in one room with you, although it might be a bit squashed.

Suite Novotel is a 4 star and whilst it's very nice is not in the same class as the others you mention. It is however very close to Mall of the Emirates as is Holiday Inn Al Barsha, which does have family rooms and also 2 bedroom suites in your price range. Sadly niether are on the beach.

Another vote for the Jumeirah Beach hotel, with free acess to the wild Wadi it's ideal for kids.

We have for our past 3 visits stayed at JBH, with 2 children in 1 room. We have just booked the westin and again have the 2 children in our room.

Madinate Jumeriah hotels allow children upto the age of 12 to stay in 1 room with adults.

As Latti says check their website and if need be, give them a call.
