beach and Pool plus wild wadi

Hi I know it is pretty hot in dubai. We are travelling next week with two kids under three. Will it be Ok to use the pool and beach during the day or would it be too hot. What is the best time to use them, My youngest is so excited to go to the beach and will be disappointed if we can't.

We have also decided to take them wild wadi - what is the best time to go and does anyone know which days are not as busy. We were thinking Sunday or Monday. Can you take a push chair into wild wadi and where do you have to put it.

Thanks everyone for your help.

It will be OK to use the pool as they are chilled and you'll want to spend a lot of time in there.

The beach is a different matter as the sand will be hot and the sea starting to get quite hot - you will have to see when you get there as only you will know if it is too hot for you and your kids. The mornings would be the best time.

For Wild Wadi then Sunday or Monday are less busy than the rest of the week and again mornings are the least busy time. You can take a pushchair in and as far as I know you put it next to your sunbed

Wild Wadi: Sunday and Monday are the days with the least people. Go in early morning. Wild Wadi opens at 1000 hours. There is a very nice children play area in Wild Wadi. Maybe check this out: https:/…

Beach and Pool are big fun for the kids, of course. As it will be hot, you just need to prepare a bit. Buy a good set of swim gear incl. shirt, water shoes, a hat and likely swim diapers. Water shoes are important as the stones around the pool and to the beach can get really hot. If you can, buy this stuff at home. The hotel and Wild Wadi charge high prices for these things.

As the sea is salty, your kids will likely prefer the pool water more.

Cover up as much skin as possible, use plenty of sun protection and keep the shirt wet to keep the little ones cool. Let them drink plenty of bottled water. And check regularly that they don’t get roasted in the sun.

Mid-day when it is very hot is the best time for a long nap. That is what a lot of people in hot countries used to do anyway. Plus they can cool down in the a/c room. Just have a look that they are nicely covered in order not to catch a cold.

Afternoon is nice in the pool, again. Many children pools in the hotel have sun covers. As from late afternoon the beach is very nice again.

Have fun.
