My father has replacement hips. Never thought about this, never had a problem.

In which airport do you need this?

Hi

You have no problem other than the fact you always get caught by the machine if you have metal hip replacements but you just get rubbed down instead the same as in London or any other airport. I actually have a card but none of them take any notice of it. The Dubai machine is extremely sensitive much more so than Heathrow.

If you are through UK airport security, no reason to have problems elsewhere.
