Second visit - additional things to see and do?

Hi All,

We are thinking of returning to Dubai in December 2014, staying in Jumeirah Zabeel Saray.

During our previous trip we visited some of the main sights including Bur Dubai, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, Deira region, Dubai Creek Golf Club, Atlantis, Burj Al-Arab, Jumeirah Beach, Souk Madinat & Mall of Emirates.

Do you have any suggestions about additional places we could visit on our second visit?

I am not interested in Desert Safaris or any tours involving food. Half day boat trip or a full day guided excursion outside of the city (apart from Abu Dhabi) would be nice. If you have any additional recommendations about things to see and do in Dubai (hidden gems perhaps) or comments about the hotel grateful for your thoughts as well.

Thanks all. Look forward to your suggestions.

I'd consider one of the desert or activity tours with Platinum Heritage - they are new since you were last in Dubai and are much more authentic than the usual ones with no dune bashing.

Or perhaps a day trip to Al Maha resort

Or a day trip to Mussandam with Khasab Tours. Here is a blog about it

I'd definitely recommend a day trip to Musandam as well. It's an amazing day out.

Also you may want to consider a dinner cruise on the Creek.

The Jumeirah Mosque is open to non-Muslims too, you can look at the beautiful designs

Also, Wild Wadi is a good family place to visit, but is good for other types of group too. If you are staying at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, you are given free access to Wild Wadi once during your stay, otherwise you have to pay

If you haven't visited the Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, that really is worth the trip. Perhaps tie it in with lunch or tea at Emirates Palace?

Thanks all for your replies.

Do you have any recommendations for a guide / tour for the Musandam trip?

Thanks again.
