What to wear for running in Dubai?

Does anyone know what running gear is acceptable in public places? My husband and I are visiting Dubai in July and enjoy running outside rather than in a gym.

What to wear for running will be the least of your issues in July

You may enjoy running outside BUT you need to consider that in July it will be in excess of 40oC, with almost 100% humidity and also Ramadan, which means no drinking in public between sunrise and sunset.

Inside running will have to do unless you want to spend time in one of the hospitals to be rehydrated.

It's very, very difficult to run outdoors in July. Even before sunrise the humidity makes for incredibly unpleasant running conditions.

Depending on where you are staying you may want to run (for free) at the Trade Centre air conditioned indoor track. During the hot, humid summer months one of the big exhibition halls is transformed into a sports area with space for basketball, cricket, football, beach volleyball, weight lifting and there is a 600m running track around the perimeter of those pitches.

You can run in your usual running gear as long as it's not too revealing. I'd give crop tops a miss, for example.
