Street food in dubai

Can anyone please share with me where can i get good traditional street food in Dubai. My family is staying at intercontinental at festival city and we are only staying in dubai for 24 hours, so it would be good if it is somewhere close.

Also, if possible, any suggestions of places to visit?

Thanks in advance.

Not sure what you mean by traditional in Dubai. However there is a restaurant called Al Fanar that serves local emirati food right next to your hotel in the festival city mall (you can see it from Anise restaurant in your hotel).

Otherwise hop on a taxi to Al Diyafah street (now called 2nd of December street) where you have many street restaurants selling shawerma or falafel sandwiches. It is about 15 minutes by taxi and costs about 25 dirhams

There isn't street food being sold from carts like you would find in Asia.

Bur Dubai is another area that's dotted with a ton of eateries. There isn't one dominant 'traditional' food, Dubai's cuisine is deliciously international, with Arabic/Middle-eastern, Indian, Iranian, etc.
