It would help to know what is your budget to be able to suggest anything that suits you?

By the way the water parks are not close to the main attractions.

If you looking for a budget hotel, you need to look in Al Barsha area. It is next to Mall Of the Emirates and 5 min drive from Water Park Wild Wadi. There are plenty of options for hotel in Al Barsha: IBIS, AURIS first what comes to mind. Search in tripadvisor map hotels around Mall of Emirates.

No one area is near everything and it's hard to make suggestions when you give no indication of budget. The previous suggestions for hotels in the Al Barsha area are a good place to start looking.
