Ramadan 2015

I have assumed that most restaurants and eateries will be closed during the day and open after sunset/evening prayers. Is this correct and does this also apply to hotels?

Thank you - ann

All food courts in malls will be closed till a couple of hours before iftar to allow for home delivery.

Hotels will continue to serve food behind concealed doors for non fasting residents. On the pool and beach food and non alcoholic drinks will continue to be served.

Some other restaurants will get special approval to remain open during the day.

No alcohol will be served before sunset at any place.
