chobe safari lodge

We will be staying at Chobe Safari Lodge for 2 nights in Feb. Just wondering about the food. Do they serve three meals a day? Do they have a bar with spirits and wine and what are the prices? Can you walk into the town and is it safe to walk alone?

Yes, they have a bar, yes they serve meals all day. and yes you can walk into the Town of Kasane from the Lodge in all safety

Prices are higher than you would find in local bars and restaurants, but not significantly so. However, been served food and drinks whilst overlooking the Chobe River has its cost, and most guests are prepared to pay for it

For prices on meals/drinks email the lodge - I have found them helpful when emailing for info/prices recently. Their breakfast/lunch/dinner prices are on their website too (buffet).

For Chobe Safari Lodge - they do not have a restaurant with a la carte anymore (which means that each meal - three - is buffet style) - their buffet is HUGE and will certainly cater for everyone, with a wide selection of food. There are a couple bars on the property and their prices are higher than buying at a local beer hall, but still manageable. You can walk around the town during the day, but not at night (it is unfenced from the Chobe and they have wild animals that have been known to walk through!) - you can chat to the reception desk about taxis (very reasonably priced) and they call them for you to drive you around.
