Sky Venture Microlights in Siem Reap

Dear All,

You know is the Sky Venture still working at the present time? www.skyventure.org

It looks such an interesting leisure activity. But I am not sure it is being proceeded.

Thanks

SkyVenture has been closed since January 2012.For some reason the old owner keeps the website up.The new company is Aero Cambodia Above Angkor.Flying from the same place.Same pilot.

Dragonfly, is the website www.aerocambodia.com/vacation-package.php or http://microlightcambodia.com/ which mentions Eddie Smith who I thought the pilot was?

Yes, it is a long and complex story and certainly not for telling on an open forum such as this.

And yes, it is the very same Eddie flying today. A great pilot, a fine ultralight mechanic and a superb photographer whose images have been used for exhibitions in Washington, USA. Eddie was one of the original two Greater Angkor Project (GAP) Angkor Ultralight Survey (AUS) pilots which I was instrumental in setting up. Just Google Greater Angkor Project for more details.

Sorry once again, Eddie, that we shall not catch up again on this present trip of mine. But I still have at least three more trips to Cambodia this year for which I already hold tickets so our paths may yet cross before year's end.

All best regards. Ian

Is it correct there are two companies now, Above Angkor and Microlight Cambodia and they offer different routes? Is there a difference in equipment? Anything else to know?
