Need help on Emeishan

Hi,

We also have questions about Emeishan:

1) can we travel by car to each of the tourist spot (eg Baoguo Temple, Golden Summit) in Emeishan? That is we do not need to hike on foot.

2) is Emeishan suitable for traveling with kids, with stroller?

3) if we hire a car, is it possible to see Leshan Buddha and Emeishan in 1 day? Or 2 days?

4)We are a group of 6 (includes 2 kids) looking for a driver to fetch us to Leshan and Emeishan , from Chengdu for 1 day tour /2 days. What is the cost? Any driver to recommend?

Thanks for your advice in advance

1) The Baoguo Temple is at the foot of the mountain ,and the car can take you in front of the gate to the temple. While the tourist bus can take you to Leidongping, the highest car park in Mount Emei, however you have to continue to walk about 20 minutes to get to the cable car terminal for the cable car uphill to the Golden Summit.

2) As it is mountain, all of the people have to walk more or less.It is inconvenient to traveller with stroller.

3)It is popular to put Leshan Giant Buddha and Mount Emei for two days trip, and you even can build Chengdu Panda Base in this two-day trip,as you may not wish to climb up the mountain.

4) I know the local driver offering good service. The price depends on your travel dates, peak season or low season.

Hi,

thanks for your feedback. I have further questions:-

1) how long do we need to walk from the cable car stop to reach Golden Summit?

4) we will be there on 17-18th Sep 14, can you share with the driver's charges on these dates?

It will be either 1 day or 2 days trip.

Thanks,

1)it takes you 2 hours to climb from Leidongping Car Park to the Golden Summit. It is steep, not recommend you to do so as you are travelling with strollers.

4) two days' trip covers Chengdu Panda Base,Leshan Giant Buddha and Mount Emei, while the day trip may only covers Mount Emei

Hi

As the Emeishan is located up on a ridge so kids with stroller is not recommended, if you like then you will take the attraction bus from the foot of the hill to mid hill and then walk for a distance then take the cable car to the top, so the problem is the half of the hill you need to walk for a while
