I'm wondering if Poblado is bicycle friendly? Would one be able to use a bicycle on a daily basis as a mode of transportation to do errands? Are most apartment buildings on hills?

Lots of hills, but i ride mine all the time when I am there; it is great for fitness. If you stay in Patio Bonito it is pretty flat.

Lots of bikes, especially on the weekends, at times parts of the Autopista is shut down just for bikes, usually Sunday mornings.

Down around the Merto and Rio it is pretty flat but everythin else is up a hill.

But be careful, we lost a friend last week on a scooter,in Centro, hit and killed by a bus, she lost control and was run over.

I ride a moto in Medellin, have seen some crazy accidents of peope on bicycles, mostly kids riding too fast diwn hills.
