Best excursions

Hi,

I would really like to have some feedback about the best excursions available on San Andres island. We like to snorkel and also visit and discover the island when we travel and book excursions. I have read about an excursion where you can feed the rays, would anyone be able to tell me which one it is ?

Any feedback and/or suggestions would be much appreciated, we will arrive in 2 weeks and can't wait !

Many thanks

Hire a golf cart and explore the island (day hire).

The golf cart is the way to go all the way around the island. You can also pay to go to Johnny Cay as well as Haines Cay, both are islands not far from the island. Snorkel trips are available as well as the "Ray" feeding out near Haines Cay. The island is fairly narrow and not too long so there really isn't much "touriosto" things to see. Try to go and see all the Decameron resorts, (if you are staying at one), as you can eat and drink at all of them if you are staying at one, (book a meal through the hotel you are staying at)

IMO what makes the island is the people and the weather, this Feb/Mar will be our 11th year !!!

Don´t bother the rays...they may get even!

If you´re in search of a cool snorkel location - visit Westview Restaurant; the owner has set up an attraction across the street. Buy some lunch to avoid entrance fee; ask Elario (sp) for some fish scraps, remind him that fish do not eat bread...;)
