We headed down to AC for a comped Sunday Night at the 'boat. Got in around noon and were happy to find a room ready in the Orleans Tower. Usual room, clean and a nice large bathroom. Settled in, drank a beer and headed town to Will Call for Tony and Tina's Wedding Tickets that were comped with a $5 Ticketmaster fee. What a disapointment the show is. We discussed going to see it in Vegas last fall and are so glad we didn't. I am not sure what we expected, but this was not it. I cannot imagine how it is being held over "by popular demand". There is a meal included of salad, Chicken Parm and Wedding Cake, but it was not good. The show seemed to be happening in different areas of the room, but we missed the humor in it. Some of the actors would come to your table, act drunk and drink from your glass or even eat off on someones plate. We consider ourselves professional drinkers, but never have done this (at least when we can remember). Not sure who would enjoy this show, but it seemed some of the older ladies that may have been brought there for Mothers Day were laughing.
Enough about the show. Headed down to Bally's to pick up some free cash we had there on a promo and played (lost) a little just to say we played in case they actually look at who cashes in offers and just leaves. Stopped at the Irish Pub on the walk back up for a beer and then back to the boat to start gambling.
Drank a few beers in the room and headed down to a crowded casino floor. Found a few .05 video machines and played for about 3 hours. Drink service was poor again so one of us would run up to the room and bring a few more beers down. We each earned about 150 points and lost $300 between us so it was not a good night, but we had fun. Headed up to the Mansion House for a burger and off to sleep off the beer.
Checked out in the morning around 8AM to an empty casino. Damn work always gets in the way of a good time!
Back off to AC for a 2 nighter starting Friday night at Caesars. Playing in the Opie & Anthony Poker tourny at Showboat on Saturday. Hopefully the slots are better to us, but even if they are not, we get a free Food Processor on Saturday at Bally's!!!!
