Just curious -- anyone else involved in this today? At about 12:30 or so I tried to cash out my $80 in the Wild, Wild West - Kate's section. Got one of those "hand pay messages." I thought it was just me. Then everyone around me ended up with the same message. We all waited up to two and one-half hours for a hand pay. There were no slot attendants visible....and the poor security folks were deluged! I finally found out that there was an electrical problem because of a thunderstorm, but it would have been nice if they would have communicated the problem to the customers. I understand they made an "announcement" but no one could hear it over the noise of the music from the machines and the overhead sound system. Anyone else experience this? One would think Harrah's would have and emergency plan for situations such as this, but they did not. When slot techs/supervisors DID show up, they clearly did not have a plan and responded to the most obnoxious first!
