Trip report 10/12-10/14

The Cliff notes version:

Lost my arse for the first time in a long time.

Regular version:

Stayed at Borgata. Lost my arse for the first time in a long time.

Thanks for reading.

Big sigh.

Another great trip report, -LMARSEO.

Sorry to hear you had such bad luck. I guess they must need to make up for the cost of the fire damage and the last month's revenue loss.

I hope you at least ate well and drank well (avoiding the rot gut they serve as wine on the casino floor).

Oh yes JMP!

I spent both Fri & Sat nites watching the Sox play on the big screen in the Amphora Lounge. BTW, who names their kid Coca Crisp? Who is his sister, Apple??!! What is up with that?!

So I had plenty of NON rock gut wine at the lounge.

I also ate at Old Homestead Sat nite as I'd accumulated enough comps to eat din-din AND have 2 glasses of fine wine. So imagine that I spent at least 2 or more hours a nite in the lounge in a big recliner watching the games and I STILL lost my arse!

Bad bad bad......But I was surrounded by a lot of men who were fascinated with the fact that there was a single woman intently watching the ball game. That made life interesting.

But I've had so many winning trips I can't complain too much I can just continue to be shell-shocked.

And I just keep thinking how grateful I am that I can afford to do this, and I am physically able to do this. I'm happy & healthy & not in some foreign country fighting a war. I'm very blessed. Not complaining, just shell-shocked.....

Hope you don't mind me having some fun with your misfortune but I was thining....

If accura123 could get $250 out of Trump Marina for his stolen GPS maybe you should complain to Borgata that you lost your arse on the casino floor and they didn't find it so you want to be compensated. After all your arse must be worth more than accura's gps and Borgata has all this security on the casino floor but you still lost your arse, so some compensation is due.

If that doesn't work maybe we could help you write a song to the tune of I lost my heart in San Fransico titled " I lost my arse in Atlantic City" and you could make some of your money back on the rolaties.

Hi Aquarius - well, never mind my PM asking if you had any "big wins." :(

I've lost my arse a lot this year so join the crowd. At least you had a good time anyway - that's the spirit! Sis loses each and every time we go to any casino - and she gets all cranky but boy, she can't wait to go again......

So there'll be more for you to win next time!!!

I'm hoping not to leave other body parts in LV next week....

Aquarius....

Not only were the people at Borgata fascinated by a single woman intently watching the ballgame, so was I! I do recall chatting with you when you weren't getting hit on by *strange* men. <big grin>

BTW`: That is an oxymoron; *all* men are strange! LOL

You have the right attitude, though: no matter how bad the gambling went, you are still better off than a lot of people in this world. Eating Steak Au Poivre to drown the gambling sorrows isn't so bad afterall....

Besides.... in January you get to visit Fort Lauderdale on your way to Las Vegas, so how bad can it be? LOL

ACMama.... You know we will expect a winning Trip Report out of you! <grin>

Jer-

Start marketing this so I can make some royalty $$$ Need it for my next trip:

I left my heart in Atlantic City:

"The loveliness of Vegas seems somehow sadly gay

The glory that was Chester is of another day.

I've been terribly alone and forgotten by Mohegan

I'm going home to my city by the ocean

I left my heart in Atlantic City

High on the sea, it calls to me

To be where little Jitney cars stop at all the bars

The morning fog may chill the air, but I don't care.

My money waits there in Atlantic City

above the smokey foggy casino

When I come home to you, Atlantic City

your golden sun will shine for me
