another lfb/rfb question

Without anyone getting ruffled feathers (some seem to about these questions), can someone advise the best way to use lfb if we have rewards credits, as we will be going 2 weekends in a row, and would like to save some rewards credits for our 2nd trip. My husband is diamond, we have been there 2 weeks in row now for day trips, and he earned about 4000, or 5000 tier points alone yesterday, making him with his already almost enough points, diamond for another year. We were lfb on last trip, and we are assuming (could be wrong) we will be lfb again, next week. My husband is taking his mom and dad on an overnight in SB , Friday. We are going to Harrahs the following fri and sat nights, but do most of our gambling in showboat, so we don't think they will give us lfb in harrahs, and that's why we'd like to save our rewards credits to eat there. How should he handle the rewards credits, this upcoming fri night trip. Should he print out a comp coupon, and sign everything to the room, hoping for it to be picked up? He will only be going into the Mansion Cafe, or buffet with his parents, no fancy dining, but it will be 3 of them, not just a couple. What is the best way for us to handle this? Thanks, we know our gambling will cost us much more on the 2nd trip, as I will be there, and we will be there for 2 nights, making a much bigger contribution then he will in Showboat with his parents (lol). Thank you again.

Well first off, you shouldn't assume you're not getting LFB at Harrahs. I play at Showboat for 90% of my HET play in AC. I am LFB at every other property (checked when I thought I might switch hotels for my next visit.) I even booked a Ballys room online without my host and it was LFB. So, it seems to me that it is more offer code related. In any case, I would call your host (or the host on duty at Harrahs) and simply ask about LFB. If you then find out you're not getting it, then yes, just print the comp coupons and sign everything to the room. Then the coupons should deposit back to your account when you leave.

lfb has nothing to do with "offer codes".

You can simply call reservations and ask them to confirm your reservation and "oh by the way" are you lfb for that stay.

(People are getting irritated by the constant lfb/rfb questions because they have been asked several times before. Search the forum for RFB or LFB and you will find tons of information about it.)

Thank you. I did search, but I wanted to make sure I was correct in how to use it. Some of the info is old, and I thought I remembered someone saying something about not being able to print your comp coupons out anymore, waiting for the points to be returned if you didn't use it, I didn't know if that still held true, and I just wanted to be sure. Thank you all.

We were lfb at Showboat a few backs and unused comps were returned to our acct after a week or so. We'll be at Bally's next week and were told we're lfb for that stay also so you may very well be lfb at other Harrah's properties.

Fyi - we printed a $20 comp ticket at the Taj which also went unused and it was back on our account after a few days.

First you should never be "afraid" to ask a question, no matter how many times it has been ask. This is what the forum is supposed to be about, giving other travelers answers to there vacation spots. Not a chat room. So ask away and people that are bothered can just not read or reply.

Now my husband and I are have always been LFB. But it never shows us on the website. We have to ask. We have never had a limit or have we never had anything not pick up. WE have gone to the coffee shop and got "bags" of the AC coffee to bring home and the totals comes to about $60 and it hasn't been a problem. So having three people at the casual resturants should be fine. Have fun.
