Spliting a trip HET

In November we went to AC for DH birthday as always, couldn't get a room a Caesars for one of the nights so VIP suggested Ballys. Well we stayed at Ballys, which by the way had a beautiful Tower room, no complaints at all. Went over to Caesars and collected our cash and probably split the playing 50/50. Well..............No January offers now. DH got a few chicken $$ offers for junk, me nothing.

HET's each casino is a "trip" is just great. They just chased two people out who were loyal for many years. Both Diamond, although low. They went to know what revenue is down!!! How does Trump work? We only have been Caesars people for years.

Have you tried entering both cards on the reservation web site? That might improve your room offers and future mailings.

You might also consider playing on just of your cards. I have a card just for the few times I play table games but all my VP & slot play is on my wife's card. She has about 25k tier score and we get get room offers for Sat and holiday's from Bally's (our home casino), Showboat and Harrah's. We usually do most of our play at Bally's but almost always hit Showboat for 4 or 5 hours each trip. In fact we just reserved NYE at Harrah's (never set foot there!) but couldn't get it at any of the other properties. It does however, seem that our cash offers and slot coupons has gone down a little in recent weeks but we have continued to be lfb the last 5 trips.

We also usually play a little at Trump Plaza or Taj on each trip and share my card. I have about 5k tier score and am offered rooms Sun - Fri with an occasional Sat. Trump has quite a few days monthly with bonus cash and it seems like their giveaway items are nicer than HET's. We've only stayed there a few times but the rooms have been nice ... Taj the nicer of the two. We have had to use our comp $ for food but maybe the higher players have meals comped too.

Just my $.02 ... hope it helps.

We have been RFB for a couple of years, and today online when I checked now I have multiple new offers (112). Maybe they had a computer glitch. Our mail leaves alot to be desired here, usually get the cards a day or two before the event happens. So...maybe we didn't destroy anything after all. We don't have a trip planned until late January so we'll see then.

Ring....we do have some friends that have switched from HET to Taj and really like it. In fact they can get 2 rooms whenever they want and have offered to let us "sponge"....Maybe that will be our next trip and see how we like it.

We learned a long time ago not to casino hop between HET properties if you want to get any good offers. Just doesn't work with their system. Too bad at places like Ballys and Caesars but I think they must still keep all the casinos separated corporately.
