I usually only stay at HET and Borg, but my bf somehow got a comp suite at Trump Marina so I agreed to stay there this weekend. Upon entering the suite, I couldn't stop laughing as the whole room was so outdated looking and tacky. I really should've taken a few pics, the carpet was a pistachio green color, and there was a jacuzzi tub built for two close to the bed. You would think that it was kind of romantic or sexy, but really it looked like an old badly done honeymoon suite LOL.
As for gaming, we donated mostly to HET and Borg as thats where I always play. I got a little luckier at the slots at Borg, but no big hits. We actually spent some time at the Pier and I finally began to appreciate how nice the stores there are. Granted they are mostly pricey NYC type shops, but if I were to hit big I'd definetely be shopping there!
Fast forward to checking out on Sunday, we leave the suite with bags packed at noon. We get our car from the valet and proceed to make our way home. I panic and tell my bf to pull over when I realize I left the dress I had been wearing to dinner saturday night on the hook behind the bathroom door. He asks me if I am sure, and so I proceed to go to the trunk and look through my luggage. No dress to be found as I am sure I recall not taking the dress off the hook. I get on the phone and call the Marina asking for housekeeping. After speaking to a few employees, including a supervisor who said she actually walked through the suite, no dress was to be found. This actually happened to be one of my better dresses, relatively new, and more expensive than most of what I own, so I was very dissapointed. I just called over there again this morning, and nothing. My bf says that a maid definetely must have stolen it. I love AC, but wont return to Trump Marina again.
